Yes!  At New Vista, Course Selection is completed in the spring and Back-to-School Registration happens in the fall.  All students are expected to attend school on the Back-to-School Registration and Picture Day.

The New Vista Student and Family Agreement is required.

Yes, there is limited parking at New Vista. Student parking permits are required to park on campus and are on a first come/first served basis. Students need to fill out a Parking Agreement, provide a copy of their license and payment of $25 for first semester. Payment can be made online via Revtrak, or pay by cash or check made out to New Vista. Parking Agreement forms are available in the front office.

School Supplies for New Vista Students

Individual student supplies: 

• Pens/pencils
• Notebook—spiral or loose-leaf binder
• Folders
• A backpack or commuter bag is needed to carry supplies (no lockers are in the new building!)
• *Teachers may have other supplies depending on the class. They will let students know during the first week of class each quarter.

General supplies for the whole school (to be shared):

• Boxes of tissues
• #2 pencils 
• Pens
• Colored markers
• Colored pencils
• Dry erase markers
• Index cards
• Post-it notes
• Glue sticks

Class specific supplies are  discussed on the first days of class. In lieu of purchasing general supplies, families may make contributions on RevTrak.

Back-to-School Registration and Picture Day is August 14, 2024.  Student pictures are taken on this day will appear on their school ID.   Parents may order photo packages online.  Enter Picture Day ID EVTF89JR3

Now is a perfect time to pay for a yearbook, the PSAT exam fee or a student parking space.  You may also contribute to the Classroom Supply Fund, Lunch Pizza Fund, and others. This is a great way to help out with the little extras that New Vista provides our students. Payments can be made via Revtrak or by cash or check made out to New Vista.

Course fees are entered into your student’s account after the first week of school and may be paid online using Revtrak or by sending in a check or cash to the office.  Waivers are available for fees.  To qualify you must be approved for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program.  

Free or Reduced-Price Meal Applications, now known as Meal Benefits Applications, may be completed from your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  For more information from Food Services, please visit the BVSD Meals and Nutrition website.  

Qualifying for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program has many other benefits, not just from Food Services.   If qualified, you may also be eligible for waived school fees, waived or discounted ACT/SAT, reduced price single-ride RTD passes, and more.
